Petenwell Lake

Petenwell Lake is Wisconsin’s 2nd largest lake with more than 23,000 acres. It is a great place to “get away from it all”. Sail boaters continue to discover what a great opportunity this lake offers and it has been described by one outdoor magazine as Wisconsin’s “Sleeping Giant”. Petenwell Lake offers great fishing and has more than enough room to maintain all types of boating. This lake offers a noticably quieter vacation experience and the views are second to none. You can also purchase property on this lake for noticeably less than on Castle Rock Lake. Many, but not all of the lake developments have a 100′ shoreline strip owned by the Wisconsin River Power Company (WRPCO).
